FP Update Hi, Let me add. My RD is Nov 11th. Did FP on 3/29 at San Jose. I called the INS a couple of days ago. They told me that they have not recieved the investigative report from the FBI. Once they recieve that the case will sit on the shelf for 60 days and then be assigned to an officer.

Investigative report. I really dont have that much of a clue. When you submit your fingerprints, the FBI does a background check and sends the results to the INS indicating whether or not you have ever been arrested, and so on. In addition, the INS recently implemented a new security...

Fax for FP request I was reading on another thread that one can fax an FP request to INS after 120 days, the form is available on the web site and one need not go through the lawyer. Maybe this will be useful for San Jose FP if it pulls on too long

We went for early FP last Friday at abt 1:30 It was quite empty.
