It is taking one week minimum. In most cases it is taking at least one week from the date of issue.

I feel the option one is best. The H4 extention you got may not be for the questionable period. So still legally they were out of status for that period. I strongly suggests for the first option. May be you can give more details to the forum like for what period the new H4 is valid...

Your case must have been with an officer The chances of your case being with an officer is nearer to 100% unless the RD/ND mess is not interfering(I don't think so). Since October approvals are coming your case should be with an officer. But how soon you hear .... depends on that officer...

I don't belive it is true with EAD As per the info from this forum, the EAD expires on the date of expiry if not renewed by that date. For H1-B and H4, I am sure the filing is just needed pending aproval. Better to consult the lawer.

You can apply on your own. The application is very simple and you can apply on your own as it needs minimum documents. A-number is from I-485 receipt. But in this forum most of the people are renewing on their own(including myself) but not for first time. If that means something better go...

Recieved on 12th, Updated on 13th Nov My RFE response, INS recieved on 12th NOV and online status updated on 13th Nov and says recieved on 13th NOV.

It is taking 10 working days. INS recieved my EAD renewal on 27th Oct and I got the RD after two weeks. Relax you will get it soon.

Submit all 1099 forms If you are working for a single company then you will have W2 and probably some 1099-INT from banks. Submit all of them.

By Online Status Check Both AVM and online status will be updated with RFE issued date.
