These IIO's have a set of different answers. They are pre-programmed to answer one or two of the different answer. Besides, they are not the one processing, all they do is punch in your EAC number and check in the computer....tell you the status and thats it...;)

Use Auto dial do you have a phone that does auto dialing? Is so, you can pre-program it with the phone number and use it to redial while you are working until you hear it ring....start from 8:00am...you should be able to contact an IIO before 12:00 noon:p :D

AP not required if you do not plan to go outside of US while your application is pending. The reason for AP for most people is for them to be able to travel out to their homeland, incase of emergency, or for people that will be assigned to other countries for special work.

I think the special check they are talking about is the IBIS check to see the applicants have any problems or cases thats gonna be a problem. I presume they must have someone doing all the checks for each applicant, or the percentage was reduced to a certain amount maybe from 20% of applicants...
