If your spouse does not intend to work in the next few months or so....don't apply and waste that money....besides she never worked when she got it...if you wait for the GC approval then she can get the SS number and be able to work still...
Yeah...why is your FP so late? any reason?
It might be FP expired...that means they are processing your papers and found out that is the problem...once that is done...you should get your GC soon...but after your FP date.
I think most people check and find out their approvals at the end of the week. so they would post it by monday or tuesday. also, INS does most of the approvals towards the end of the week.

I would say that matching means they got your RFE documents and put it back into your file folder. Normally, this folder with completed documents are returned to the office who reviewed it.
In no time, it will get approved...Hang in there...
If you got approval letter from INS, just bring that and whatever it is asking for. Have her stamp her PP. INS will have no info that you got laid off from your company. she should be okay.
