Ofcourse you can and in your case .. u should!! Do it immediately. Enclose a copy of the INS request letter and your documents. All the best!

My attorney said ... They are still processing Apr '01 cases ...:D

Priyali You should see the AVM and online status changing by the end of day. Usually they give 2 to 3 months for response. I am sure you are very frustrated .. hang in there .. the worst is almost over. Let us know what the RFE is about?

Jack, It is always better to send it by fedex. It is reliable and easy to track. Don't panic! Prepare the documents again. I hope you have a copy of INS request letter. Enclose a copy of it and do a 'next day delivery' through FedEx. Good Luck!

grcd2001 grcd2001, I am not sure! My fp was done in Dec 2001! In any case, I just talked to an IIO and She said my case is 'Pending' with an officer. No decision has been made yet and it might take another 45 days!!

sk446 My attorney received the RFE. I actually did not receive any copy from INS. I think if you signed (a representation document) your attorney to represent your case and communicate on your behalf, INS communicates only through the attorney.

One more Aug case RD : 8/21/01 ND : 9/21/01 RFE : 12/04/02 RFE response Received by INS : 12/19/02 Called IIO on 1/23/03 and said the case was assigned back to the officer on 1/21/03. She had no estimate of process time.

Ani Where are you getting these no.s from? There are only 2 approvals registered in Rupnet yesterday. Please let us know the source. Inflating nos. will not make NSC work any faster.
