ZB,
I have not heard anything about my approval/NOF from my lawyer. My PD is Jan 2002, RIR/EB3.
If you remember on May 02, 2005, I got an email response from the Dallas BPC saying that my case was in the "Final Review" stage. I don't know how long is the "Final Review" stage going to last...
This may not be the most appropriate forum, but something for all of us to keep at the back of our minds while we wait and suffer the labor certification delays.
Just a few highlights from what was posted on murthy.com. I don't know how we all will be affected.
The U.S. Department of...
For Icarus
Icarus,
Someone may have already asked these questions before. It would help us all if you could shed some light on these issues:
1) Are there still only two COs at the Dallas BEC?
2) Any idea at what speed (average how many cases per day) are they (COs) approving cases?
3) What...
ZB,
If your assumption is correct, why have we not seen any approvals for other cases (excluding mine) with PDs after April 2001 and before April 2002 (Tgunukula's case)?
Regards,
Raydhan
I haven't heard from my lawyer or my employer about my labor approval yet. So, I am guessing that neither of them have received it as of now. There are so many others before me who have not heard anything yet either. Again, the approvals seem to be out of sync.
Maybe, Icarus can enlighten us...
Right on, ziv711. I just confirmed with my lawyer that there are 1600+ cases waiting for final approval at Dallas BEC.
So, Icarus was more than accurate in his update last weekend. Now the backlog has just shifted from the analysts to the certifying officers (COs). Hope they appoint more COs...
I hope you are correct ZB.
But then I have been waiting for my approval for the last 3 years.
I will definitely alert y'all as soon as I see something.
Regards,
Raydhan.
Trust me. I know better than that. I have been in this labor process for 3 yrs and 3 months now. I have heard all kinds of messages and news and updates. I have no enthusiasm for partying based on an email response.
I won't be celebrating till I get my GC.

Dallas BEC Response
I had sent a status inquiry email to the Dallas BEC on April 04, 2005 for my case. My priority Date is January 30, 2002. RIR/EB3 from Oklahoma.
Here is the response that I got today (May 02, 2005):
Dear Requestor:
The purpose of this letter is to acknowledge your...
Minor Update
For what its worth again, I just had a discussion with my lawyer. She said that in the last 2-3 weeks their office has received 10-12 labor approvals from the Dallas BPC for cases with P.D.s upto April 2001. I had reported this piece of information in this thread earlier already...
Sorry Icarus. My bad. I qualify my statement as follows.
"So, I agree with ZB that Icarus is very accurate in his/her statements. Now, only if we can get him/her to come back from his/her temporary hiatus and let us know if the April 2001 gridlock has been conquered or not."
To...
For what its worth, my lawyer has also received about 10 approvals from the Dallas BPC in the last 2-3 weeks for priority dates of 4/30/01 or earlier. I didn't bother asking about the details of each case since it is irrelevant. All I needed to know was if approvals are coming in and what...

Icarus Guru
Dear Icarus guru,
My P.D. is Jan 02. Since you mentioned the other day that someone's case with a P.D. of Dec 01 was being analyzed, can I expect some kind of decision on my case in the next month or so?
Thanks for your help.
Best regards,
Raydhan.
