i hope you made lots of copies of your i94 before he took it. Carry your i94 copy when you depart the USA. if the airline would want to take it, they would otherwise dont worry about it.

my case was eb2/rir which did not clear state, and i got 45 day letter in april 06 and approval in may 06. so yes, they are processing cases which never made out of state.

does anyone know how long is too long in terms of issuence of birth caertificate after the birth. I gotmy wife's birth cert in 2002 and submitted that. she was born in 1979.

Your AP does NOT become invalid even if your 485 is approved and you get the card. She still could use the AP to enter the country. From that point on, she should only travel using the card.

I got a code 3 FP/bio notice a couple of weeks after filing my AOS App. I see some people getting only code 1, others code2 and some code 3. How does NSC distinguish which case to issue which one. Does it mean anything?

thanks vali, I had kind of made up my mind to file it now with out the extension approval already anyway :) I dont understand why they would issue an RFE for this case, since they are the ones who KNOW if the H1b extension is approved or not, they have the A# , I94# and everything to check...
