    Me Too.. I am in the same boat as you are ... So here is what I was thinking to do. First confirm from lawyer that they did either courier or by priority mail so, that we know for sure it is received by the INS etc., Their are cases, where lawyers send by ordinary post and mail gets lost...

    Any approved 140 with big companies

    Any one approved their 140 while working on big companies. I am trying to track people who work on big companies and pending 140 and crossed their dates or people with apporved 140 while working big companies.

    Finally some one picked up our I-485 files and blessed us with an RFE....

    I got an RFE I also got on RFE on 5/19/2004. But my case is 140 not approved yet and my RD 8/20/2003 No finger printing is done or anything? what could the RFE about? Any ideas ?

    No right Employer should have no right to keep that document. They should provide atleast copy of it. Check wheather they really applied or not ... I wouldn't blindly believe employer for this kind of stuff ...

    Future employer denying to accept EAD

    Labour law According to the labour law no employer can deny employment because of the time limitation of the work permit. In your case may be EAD which is valid for so and so date. Ask them why they are saying not to entertain EAD. If this is the reason you can sue them.

    Acc. to ImmigrationWatch.com VSC has around 45000( in 2002) + 40000 (in 2003) + 9000(in 2004) cases filed for I-140. Out of that they processed 35000 (2002) + 20000 (2003) + 2000(2004) So that means around 35000 (2002 - 2004) applications not processed or RFE not approved or withdrawn...

    Also do you guys setup the profiles yet. If so any you know the last updated date for I-140, mine says 1-24-2004. Not sure wheather or any RFE sent to lawyer.

    Same here I do wonder the same thing. My theory is that, they don't go by the order or month. They have 3 months of applications and they pick what ever they feel like and process. My RD also 8/20
