My two cents EAD does not require you to work 40 hours min per week. You can get paid at $30/hour rate 20 hours a week. Talk to your HR. Most companies do this.

I completely aggree with gcinjan2003! I had H1B until Jan 2003. I also had EAD until Feb 2003. Ofcourse I got it renewed lately. EAD does not require you to work 40 hours a week also. I would just apply it.

My EAD (RD Jan 16) was approved on Feb 17th. I received the cards for me and for my wife Yesterday!

Why can't you work right now? You have a valid EAD till 3/29 right? What is the problem?

Approval is just fine! I talked to my lawyer last week. She was concerned about the EAD renewal. She suggested to take Admin leave until it gets approved. Fortunately that did not happen. She did not care about the card. In my opinion you will see your approval this week.

The message might 've been changed over weekend I checked on Friday to see old message. My old EAD is expiring on Feb 25th. I was despearate too. I think you have time. It should all happen before 3/29. tangonta's card took 3 weeks. I hope you would not have any problem.

Oops! My RD is jan 2002

She said Ins Hired 300 adjudicators My lawyer is expecting the process to speed up and my approval end of this year. My rd is jan 2001. Is it just optimistic and encouraging statement?:)
