RFE issued
Thanks guys! I just wanted to let you know that there was an RFE issued on my case yesterday according to the on-line system.
I don't know the details yet but I will post when I get the letter from them.
Normally, I would be pissed off to get RFE, but right now I am happy that...
Thanks! I am in the same situation, but if my case was being worked as CP wouldn't I get an information packet? I checked with my attorney and he told me that he also never got the packet.
Does it mean that my case was never transferred to Islamabad? I checked with National Visa Center as...
Nothing yet!
My attorney tried to get some information and was told that my case is pending. He told me that lately BCIS has not been giving much info to anyone.
The long and painful wait continues!
I am interested in hearing from anyone who is from the special registration countries. Is your I-485 approved or did you get a RFE after the special registration was announced?
I have a feeling that cases for people from these countries is still on hold!
RD: 10/19/01
ND: 11/17/01
No...
I don't think so ...
Mine is 02-038. No news yet, I called the IIO and was told that my case is not even assigned to the officer. They told me it could take atleast 2 - 3 months.
Congrats Kalasu,
Please share some information. What are the last next three digits of your case number LIN-02-xxx? My dates are exactly the same as yours
RD: Oct 01
ND: Nov 01
FP: 6/02
No RFE, No case status change from the initial message. What was your RFE for?
Thanks
Hello Jim
What documents did you bring with you? my case is not approved yet but hoping to get it sometime this year!!
RD: 10/19/01
ND: 11/17/01
Thanks
Does this even mean anything when the case status says that it takes 450 to 480 days? My case has already taken more than that. Can the IIO do anything if the case has been pending for more than 480 days??
Everytime I speak with IIO all they tell me is that they are processing August 01...
I called the NVC and tried to check the status of my case but my case could not be found in their system. I assume that is a good sign? Does it mean my case was never transferred to NVC and it is still with NSC? I certainly hope so!
Anyone with October 2001 RD that filed for AOS but the I-140 was approved for CP?
I would like to know if your case was approved. My I-140 was approved by the INS for CP by mistake, it was filed for AOS. My attorney is telling me that it is OK to file for AOS with CP I-140. I have heard that...
You're right nothing we can do but wait. I was only making an observation since some of the cases right before and after 11/18 are approved or there are RFEs. That shows that the cases may be assigned to different officers based on the day they are received.
;)
I was just going through rupnet.com for October RD cases and it seems like NSC may actually be processing cases according to ND or cases are assigned to officers based on ND.
My ND is 11/18 and none of the 11/18 cases have approvals or even RFEs. Most probably all 11/18 ND cases are assigned...
I spoke with IIO at NSC on Friday. He told me that finger prints expire in 14 months, and they try everything they can to adjudicate a case within 14 months of the finger printing date.
I am not sure how true this is but I thought I share this info with everyone. Is NSC working on cases based...
No approvals but a bunch of RFEs!
There are a number of RFEs for OCT cases which means that they have atleast started working on OCT cases.
I just spoke with the IIO and they told me that for employment based apps they are working on August 01 cases and it will probably take another 2 to 3...
