Hi all, I haven't been on this website ever since my late 2009 citizenship interview happenings...! Brings me back so many memories.
I just came back for a two-week vacation, and while preparing myself to apply for a visa earlier today, I noticed my Naturalization Certificate (the glossy kind...
I just called them three times and they all said they cannot transfer me to an IO. When I asked if there is a way I could talk to an IO, they said my case is still pending and I shouldn't talk to an IO.
I couldn't reach anyone - I just got all the info from the recorded message. I even stayed on the line for a long time to see if it transfers to me an officer, but nothing happened.
However I just made an Infopass appointment! Hope this works.

Thank you so much for all your help! I received my interview date (September 30th) and it's going to take place in Virginia.
I called USCIS a few days ago regarding this problem and they said I don't have to worry about anything - just make sure to check my mail on time and be at specific events.
