    2003 Consolidated Tracker ONLY (140/EAD/AP/FP/485)

As far as I know what I said is correct -- maybe you are confusing the fact that many people now file the I-140 / I-485 / EAD / AP at the same time. Without the I-485 the EAD / AP can't be filed. AP is specifically used to preserve your adjustment of status case -- it has nothing to do with...

    October 2003 I-140/I-485 Tracker

I see what you are saying and that makes sense except that it's probably not accurate to extrapolate the few (early) samples that we've seen so far for 10/23/03 cases (especially because IMO the activity that we've seen to date has mainly been for "easy" cases so probably fewer are being...

    November 2003 I-140/I-485 Tracker

Folks, don't forget about the consolidated 2003 tracker: http://immigrationportal.com/showthread.php?p=996647#post996647. Lot's of November cases in there along with stats showing the % of approvals so far (11.1% for November). ETA

    VSC 2003 by sampling scanning

You'll get more responses to this question in the main I-485 forum... The bottom line as I understand it is that they a) won't accept new I-485 applications if the associated PD is past 01/01/02 b) they won't approve any previously filed I-485 application until it's associated PD is <=...

    I-485 Approved

In the various forums, near the bottom of the page there is a "New Thread" button -- use that. You have to be logged on, but you've figured that out since you were able to post a message in this thread... :). ETA

    October 2003 I-140/I-485 Tracker

Sorry to hear that -- hopefully your case will get attention soon... Do you have any ideas as to why your case might have been transferred? Were you married recently / any reason for the VSC to want to check up on the validity of your marriage? You have the same ND as I do btw... No --...

Updated scan of I-485 cases available

This happens all the time. In many cases this means that someone has looked at your case and you could be approved in anywhere from 1 day to 6 weeks (or not -- I'm not yet convinced that LUD changes mean much...). If you've noticed all the LUD-related threads that is what these are about. ETA

    2003 Consolidated Tracker ONLY (140/EAD/AP/FP/485)

Actually, in the case of the PD changes the rules are quite clear and if you are in one of the affected categories, they will definitely apply to you. For some people, a 1-2 year delay in their case might not matter, for others, this could force them to seriously rethink their situation (e.g...

    2003 Consolidated Tracker ONLY (140/EAD/AP/FP/485)

I'm not 100% sure what you are asking...? From what I understand, if your PD is > 01/01/02 (and you are EB3, skilled and from India / China / Philippines), once 01/01/05 arrives, you aren't going to be approved until your PD becomes current again. Period. I'm not sure anyone knows how...

latest statistics for 08/25/03 cases Last Scan: 12/03/04 This Scan: 12/09/04 (+6 days) # Cases: 177 After the burst in activity last week, things seem to have crawled to a standstill for this date. Only 1 approval and 1 transfer since the last scan (6 days ago). Update (12/12/04): fixed...

    2003 Consolidated Tracker ONLY (140/EAD/AP/FP/485)

Hi RonaDhona. As I understand it, yes, you need to be concerned about this as the VSC will be unable to approve your case until your PD is current. Hope for an approval before 01/01/05. You should make sure your name check is done but if you haven't already done this you probably won't know...

    2003 Consolidated Tracker ONLY (140/EAD/AP/FP/485)

The retrogress doesn't take effect until 01/01/05. Anyway, although I'm guessing that Indian12 might be from India, we don't know about the others (we should really have added a country of origin column I guess). ETA

    2003 Consolidated Tracker ONLY (140/EAD/AP/FP/485)

People are definitely more concerned about PDs -- I agree. However, the VSC hasn't "changed back to a PD system" as far as most of the people in the 2003 tracker are concerned (this might be more true for the 2004 tracker). As I mentioned earlier, most people in the 2003 tracker aren't going...

    will status change after approval?

Yes, this is part of the disadvantage of being transferred -- it's much harder to get an idea of when your case might be processed. This, plus the fact that depending on where your local office is, the transfer can add months / years to the time it takes to get approved :(. ETA
  19. E

    will status change after approval?

I don't think so -- the VSC no longer keeps track of transferred cases as far as I know (you can go back to 2001 cases and still see that there are 40+% of cases with transferred status). ETA

Tracker Updated Fixed errors in rubs' entry (duplicate dates). Moved LC state and LC PD into their own columns. We only have about 10% of the PDs at this point... Added I-485 approval info for +Jaihind2 (ND: 07/14/03 AD: 12/08/04) +Laxmany (ND: 10/31/03 AD: 12/08/04) ETA
