Added I-485 approval info for jits1609 (ND: 10/20/03 AD: 12/06/04).
Nice to see some activity on a Monday (rare) and nice to see another October 2003 approval :D.

Yes, if:
+you filed in EB3
+you are a native of India, China, or possibly the Philippines
+the PD retrogresses to a date that is before your PD
Furthermore, my understanding is that people in this situation who haven't filed I-485's yet would not be allowed to do so (which means no EAD...
Thanks Nemessis!
I noticed a couple of minor errors in the new data (the ratios for the last 2 dates were going off the wrong totals so these were all about 50% higher than they should be). I fixed those in this version of the spreadsheet (see my PM for more info). I haven't figured out how...
All Oct 2003 cases are in EAC040015XXXX through about EAC040225XXXX since the number is tied to the number of working days into the fiscal year since October 1st, 2003. My own case number is EAC040165XXXX for a 10/23/03 ND.
There is a bit of a random element to the approvals but at this...
Thanks joyd. To be honest though, I'm just doing this for selfish reasons -- I just want to have a better idea of when my case might be approved :).

Improved weekly progress stats at bottom of sheet to go off of the actual I-485 Approval dates. Shows the number of cases which were approved for each week, the total # cases approved up to that point, the % this is of the total cases, and the change in the % total from week to...
Not to mention the poor grammar / unprofessional feel of the email, e.g. "We shall be anticipating for your reply soon." -- lol.
The 775 area code is apparently for Nevada?

See post #4 in http://www.immigrationportal.com/showthread.php?t=153585 for info on how to get stats for *some* 2002 cases.
You could also check the historical stats at www.immigrationwatch.com but be warned that their stats aren't updated regularly or consistently (2002 might be ok though)...
The scans that nemessis has been doing include 5 Nov 2002 dates so those would be good for getting a rough idea of where things stand.
I've attached the most recent complete scan that he did (the last scan was only a partial one but I believe that nemessis is doing another full scan which...
Last week alone, roughly 4.5% of all the cases were processed (mainly approvals, with a couple transfers).
We also continue to see very few transfers overall among the cases in the tracker (only 1.6% so far).
