Some folks reported that the agency told them "your case is stuck because we are waiting to hear from the foreign government". So, filing WOM makes the govt. to quickly "hear" from the foreign govt. ?

Weirdos It is perfectly OK to have the applicants roam around country for multiple years and not giving the immigration benefit in the name of name check clearance .What national security ? May be lot of clay-headed higher bodies decided these things.

This might be true, of late , "lot of" guys reporting approvals with PD in the range 2001 and early 2002.

If a visa number is already assigned to you ( since you cleared namecheck ), you might get approved even if the visa bulletin says retrogressed.

It all depends on the 'damn' namecheck clearance.
