Folks, let's try to keep non-tracker related posts in the I-485 forum where they belong. There have been multiple threads on the priority date situation over there including this one: http://boards.immigration.com/showthread.php?t=154145.
I'm not singling out pb74 or anyone but could we move...
The suggestions are good and I'll add new columns for the PD and LC state and move the current data into those.
The problem is that I don't think many people are going to bother to update their PD (there are tons of people in the tracker who haven't done this yet and many of those don't...
I'd like to see nemessis' scans continue but I don't have the time / IPs to do those. With a single IP you are limited to scanning < 200 cases per day and I believe that nemessis was using many proxy servers to scan his cases using multiple IPs over several days. There are more than 18000 cases...
Unfortunately, I don't think this is correct. See the many threads on this in the I-485 forum but, briefly, the I-485 can not be approved until the associated PD is current.

FYI, I added a table to the 2003 tracker to show the number and % approved / transferred / completed for each month. The full tracker is at http://immigrationportal.com/showthread.php?p=994282#post994282 and I've attached a spreadsheet here that contains only the new table.
Take the numbers...
Tracker Updated

FWIW, rupnet got 10 updates so far today (6 approvals): http://www.rupnet.net/immigration/reports/approvaltrack.asp?place=100&predefined=1&mplace=1.

I'll try to answer but I can't guarantee this is correct...
1) Yes, you want to file asap! Her PD (and your wife's) will be the same as yours (the primary), i.e. November 2002.
2) If you get the EAD filed, yes (and EAD too if she's old enough). Of course, you only need AP for travel (you...
There's lot's of info on name checks if you search in this forum but, briefly, the name check is generally initiated around the time that you file the I-485 and apparently usually takes only about 1 month to clear. Unless there's a "hit" against the FBI databases then you could be in for a long...
FYI, there's a consolidated tracker (http://immigrationportal.com/showthread.php?t=118163&page=138&pp=15 -- check post #2051 or later for the latest spreadsheet) for tracking all 2003 cases. There's about 36 October 2003 cases currently, 6 are approved, 1 is transferred.
My own ND is 10/23/03...
If it's the pilot program I know about, this was only for family based cases...
My guess (which might be 100% wrong) is that the EB3 regression will affect cases the same whether or not they are being handled at a local office.
Of course, this won't affect you as you are EB2 (and born in...
You need to scroll down past the cases to where the statistics are. See the attached example (which I took from the main sheet). This shows results from yesterday and from 12/03/04. Taking the Approved/Completed row as an example, this shows that there were 5 approvals since the last scan and...
Agreed.
It's unclear to me (and to most people on this forum as far as I know) what "same or similar" means though. In your case, it *might* be sufficient to continue working under the general category of MD (or whatever your category is) just as I could possibly work anywhere as a software...
