That is not very clearly asked. In DV Lottery you will have a confirmation number from the original entry, and then, if selected, you get a case number (Year, region, number). KCC communicated with you using the CASE number.

You should probably understand also that your case number is probably very high compared to the others in the region - based on the dv26poll - https://dv26poll.xarthisius.xyz/ That means some risk that you never become current and if you do it will be very late in the fiscal year.
