New TN - Another Employer

Hi Folks,

I am currently working in the USA on TN as a "Senior Controls Engineer" from last 2 years. Now, I just got another job offer with different employer and position is almost same and my title will be "Senior Automation Engineer". New employer wants to file TN via USCIS Premium Processing, so my question is:

1. Firstly, when I issued my current TN, my title was "Controls Engineer" at the time of issue of first new TN, but due to re-org change it was changed to "Senior Controls Engineer" which I have not reported to USCIS as my job duties were same without any change as well as employer also same. Will this cause any issue for my new TN?
2. if they file with USCIS with Form I-129 as "Change of Employer" and lets say its get approved, meaning I have to stop working with my current employer right way?
3. Since, I dont want to give my 2 weeks Notice period, before approval of new TN, Can I mention to them to file as "New Concurrent Employment"?
4. Is this order of process is correct: Approval of NEW TN -> Passport Stamp for new I-94 at US Boarder -> Serve my 2 weeks Notice at current employer -> then join new job.
5. Should I insist them to let me go to POE rather than filing online for me or Filing online with USCIS will be safer for me?

Please, share your thought on this and any response on this questions will be highly appreciated. Thanks!!

@nelsona I hope you can answer this questions for me, you have been a lot helpful in previous years as well. Much appreciate always!! Thanks !!

- Your internal TN title does not matter - your TN title is what matters and is different than the internal title(s) given to you in your company.
2. if they file with USCIS with Form I-129 as "Change of Employer" and lets say its get approved, meaning I have to stop working with my current employer right way?
- You can continue working for the existing employer (e.g. your notice period) as long as you file your I-129 as a "concurrent employment". But if you file it for a "New Employment", then you cannot work for your existing employer as soon as the new one is approved.
3. Since, I dont want to give my 2 weeks Notice period, before approval of new TN, Can I mention to them to file as "New Concurrent Employment"?

- Yes
4. Is this order of process is correct: Approval of NEW TN -> Passport Stamp for new I-94 at US Boarder -> Serve my 2 weeks Notice at current employer -> then join new job.

- Yes, if you obtain your TN at the border.
5. Should I insist them to let me go to POE rather than filing online for me or Filing online with USCIS will be safer for me?
- POE is faster and I-129 is more convenient - saves you a trip to the border. Your call.

Just a clarification on 4:
If you go the I-129 route, since you are in US, you will receive an I-94 with your approval, thus no need to go to the border. A passport stamp is never a requirement -- the I-94 is.
