I have a diploma in business management and post graduate degree in supply chain management. I have evaluated this degree to one and I received the bachelor's in business management, and I have general manager experience in pizza store and Restautant for 3 years and 2 years in retail setting. so can I apply for position of hotel general manager category under Tn visa???

@rikipatel27

Where (which country) did you get your diploma and experience?

The most important TN visa requirement is having a job offer from a U.S. employer. The job offer must be for a full-time or part-time position but cannot be for self-employment.

You need to be offered the job first before you apply for TN visa.

Your degree/educational training needs to be related to your job to qualify for the TN status. The "Bachelor of Business Administration" degree does not looks like it is related to Hotel Management - does it?

You are allowed to a have client, so self-employment is possible. It is self-sponsoring which is not possible,

BelRed, let's not give misinformation out of lack of knowledge..

The degree can indeed get a TN,

Thanks @nelsona
I had googled the requirements for TN visa and Google's AI Gemini had created that text which I had posted, including the highlighted part. Apparently Google had picked up that information from a Law office's website.
The exact text - word to word - still exists on that law offices site.
I am not suppose to share links of any external law offices site in this forum so I won't do it.

But if you Google

tn-visa-eligibility-requirements-a-comprehensive-guide

exactly as I wrote, including the hyphens - in between, the page I am referring to would appear in the results on the first page of Google search.
The text I wrote is part of the URL on that law office's site that displays the page, hence Google is able to pull it up in it's results.
