New TN visa clash with F4 visa

I have a situation which I need guidance on, or if someone else is in same situation.
I am a Canadian citizen and I am going to apply for TN visa under CSA category. I have a job offer from a US company.
However, my sibling, already a US citizen has filed for a F4 visa 2 years back. Currently the processing date for those is 2008 so I don't see anything happening for this for next 10-12 years atleast.
Will this cause a issue in my TN visa application (directly at the border) since TN is a non0immigrant intent visa.
ANyone has been in this situation before? If so, was any supporting document needed?
Should I go through a lawyer for this kind of application?

Although TN is not afforded exactly the same protection from I-130 filing as it does from I-140, you should not have a problem until your processing date becomes more current. In any event, what choice do you have at this point. Go to the border and get TN. If they haven't stopped you entering as a tourist, it is unlikely that they will stop you now.

If you have problems, or even if you don't you should strongly consider cancelling the I-130. It really was pointless to apply for F4 for you, there are so many more options for you to move to the US, as a Cdn.

Not exactly the same but my family never had problems getting tourist visas while we had an F3 pending.
