Hi I am currently waiting for my interview for green card and have a combo card. I am currently visiting family in Canada and have lost my passport. I just ordered a new one and will be getting it in 10 days. I still have my combo card in my possession. My question is will I be able to return to the US because my I-94 was stapled in my old passport that the Canadian authorities are keeping because it was damaged. I am able to access my I-94 online is that enough? The online I-94 is linked to my old passport number though. Also, do I need to inform USCIS of my new passport number?

Assuming by combo card you mean a combo EAD/AP card, all you need is the AP part of the card. AP stands for Advance Parole, and is usually the primary 'document' CBP would require to process your admission/parole into the US.
