Hi, I was wondering if the normal filing fee of $130 has to be paid with the I-130 application at the New Delhi INS office. If so, what form of payment do they take: cash, draft, US $, traveller checks? Thanks

I was wondering if consular filing could be done for a parent too. The discussion I have seen is for spouses only, but instructions seem to apply to immediate relatives too. Any experience in this regard will be greatly appreciated.

I was wondering if a US Citizen could file an I-130 on behalf of a parent at the consulate in New Delhi. I understand it can be done for a spouse. Do the same rules apply for immediate family other than spouse? Thanks

Thanks for the reply, mariahoneyy. I recall reading in another post about a "Case status not found" message appearing. Also, how much in advance do they notify about interview? My regional/ local centers are Vermont/ Newark, NJ and PD Jan 13th 03. Any comments/ experiences requested. Rgds

HI, I was wondering if the online status message changes after the interview appointment letters are sent. I have had FPs and am waiting for an interview call. I need to be out of the country, and this way could know when to expect the letters. Thanks
