    I don't know if it is approved or is it pending name check (the officer did not said anything about the name check), but I understood that if you have an H1B visa you can still travel with it and you don't need AP. Does that change after the interview?

    Hello there, Your interview probably went ok but the USCIS officer cannot give you approval or make time estimates since the name check is still pending and that is managed by a different office altogether (FBI). At this point you just have to sit an wait, but there are some threads here...
