I got the answer for my question. One can work on EAD until it expries, need not apply for new one when visa gets renewed.

Hi Nayaki, One can extend the status (I-94) but not the visa when you are in US. Visa can be obtained when you want to travel back to US from home country. So if your visa has exipred you need to travel outside US to get it. Hope I answered your question. Thanks, Topez.
