You need to apply for Work authorization (EAD) after 150 days you applied asylum. No body is going to hire you legally unless you have EAD card.

You have only 2 years left to be a ctitizen. Be strong for coming 2 years and you can get back ur freedom. If I were you, I will wait. Good luck!!!!

I think it is Alien number. They should get this number when they received the application.

I don't advise to renew NP and use it for travel. But some people did it and nothing happened while applying citizenship. It is better if you use RP or RTD according to your status. I think asylees can't get RP. It is your choice or decision.
