Wheretogo I was in the same exact status as you are. I applied and got trasit visa. I went to india in august and came back. Nobody ever never bothered to check for the trasit visa. But the consulate says that its a requirement to have the visa to board the flight.

jo_soma, Sorry for the late reply. Was busy. I am not sure what else address can you give if you dont have a friend or family in canada. Try to find out if your friends have any friends or family so that you can use their address if they dont mind. I dont think landing in any other province...

Good to get Transit Visa I am in the same boat. I emailed German Consulate in Chicago and they said If I am travelling with AP, then I do Need to get Trasit visa. It costs $45.00 per person.

Congrats msstl I am still sitting tight and waiting for my turn. Applied for 3rd AP last month. Need to apply for 3rd EAD Next Month. All my money is going towards USCIS fee :p
