smxhan, I showed POE officer the passport along with the COPR, she asked me where I am going and what I am doing in US, I told her that I am working in US, she told me that I am not supposed to leave the country with out PR card, after a moment she returned my passports and said I am all set...

Smxhan, I went to canada by using my own car to pick up PR card. I went to my friends house to get all of my documents. rh2002.

Jalma and Texancanadian, when I crossed the border 2 time, I travelled in my own car, no body bothered about the car at the POE. just the immigration officer told me that I am not supposed to leave the country without PR card and after a second, she told me that I am all set to go. Then Happy...

Jalma, I reached counsulate by around 9.00 AM in the morning, not many people were there(hardly 5 or 6 people), with in 15 minutes we gave all of our PP and Photo's. They asked us to come back at around 1.15 PM to get our PP. Good luck to you. enjoy Naigara falls from canada side. Rh2002.

Reply to Jalma Jalma, Just follow the instructiions on the PP request paper, reach the counsulate around 8.00 AM, it's HSBC building. Submit your PP and photo's. They will give you the PP by 1.00 or 1.30 PM on the same day. rh2002.

Crazy_Apple, My time lines were almost same as yours, even I received second letter 1/5/2004, I sent the medicals around final week of Jan 2004. I already landed in Canada. Get CIAP notes and find out what reason is holding your application. rh2002.

RahulatDC, After succeful landing, you can come back to US and can go to Canada with your car as many times as you want as long as you do not use commercial carrierers like Flights, ships, Buses etc to go to Canada. so After first successful landing, if they ask you in person to pickup the PR...
