Thanks for the reply. I am on H1 in usa. So I know it is an issue for H1 visa, If the PORT of ENTRY is different from the sponsoring company's city. Just curious why it is different for F1 visa. Thanks

Port of Entry Hi, My brother is joining in one of the universities in Texas. We live on the east coast. Can he come to east coast directly , stay for a week and leave for the college in Texas later. Would there be any issues involved with PORT OF ENTRY? Any Help is highly appreciated...
