Received citizenship certificate in the mail yesterday. Very efficient process from start to finish.

That was really fast. State department is getting better interms of time line as you applied later. It took 16 days for my application to complete. I received my naturalization certificate yesterday via priority mail. Very efficient from start to finish

Updated signature. Received passport today after 16 days !! I was expecting it next week based on other OP experiences. If you are not in a hurry to travel , save money going for routine service.

You have to sign up to get the email notification. Once you are on the status page, if you scroll down there is an option for you to provide email status update.

Currently it took me 19 days to complete a routine passport application. I posted this info on the other forum - see also others experiences ( http://forums.immigration.com/showthread.php?315765-PP-Application&p=2228731#post2228731). I am posting it here if any one can benefit from the info and...

I got an email message today stating that my passport application is completed and passport book will arrive early next week as per my previous estimate. It looks like routine passport applications are completed in exactly 19 days.

That's a very good news!! I have applied routine service for passport book only @ one of the suburban Atlanta post office as well but mine was on Sept 9th. It looks like passport will arrive sometime around Sept 27 or 28 ( based on your calculation).

Thanks . My process is routine ( 4 - 6 weeks according to state dept website). Did you applied expedited?

I can see my passport application status online as well.It's only been 2 days since I applied.Does any body know if the status on the state department web site updates on a regular basis during the process of your application or it's a standard generic message ?
