    old A# Thanks for the replies! I have a photocopy of my old card and so have the old A#. which i will enter into the forms. I am just trying to be careful and go through all the correct steps. Any other advice is gladly received. Cheers, Orso

    old A# Hi, I returned the old card by sending it back to the local us consulate with a letter explaining the situation. i did not know about the form I-407 at that time unfortunately. do you think that will cause issues?
