OCI process complete. Received the US passports, OCI books, Indian old passports for the family. Total process was very smooth. Job well done by Indian embassy folks. Please see the updated signature.

Our application status updated today. Embassy received our OCI's. I am planning to send the passports and copy of the updated status to DC tomorrow by express mail. Thanks

Just mailed OCI applications to DC on 3/25.

Applied for passport books and card on 2/12. Got mine and wife's passport books on 3/12, received my passport card today 3/13. Still waiting for wife's passport card. Still in process for son's passport book and card. It's over a month now.

OCI Fee clarification Hello, I am planning to apply OCI for my family. We do NOT have any PIO cards. So for each applicant we need to pay $275. This is the same fee for adult and kids? Please confirm. Thank you.

Hello, Do we need to give finger prints during Oath? My Oath is scheduled for 2/12th and my thumb has minor cut. Will this be an issue?

We had interview today Both my wife & I had interview today. We both passed. Both of ours was pretty simple interviews.

We had interview today Both my spouse & I had interview today. IO didn't ask her passport but my IO checked my passport for all the travel dates. So bottom line is, you never know which IO would insist on the passport.
