    contact senator/congressman

    go to www.house.gov for local congressman www.senator(or senate?).gov for state senator. Then go to their web site for detailed contact info, email, fax, mail, just choose one you prefer and contact them for help. Good luck!

    one more thing Make sure you get the confirmation from FBI that your NAME CHECK is completed, not just the FP clearance, which is the criminal background check and usually will be sent back to VSC in days.

    Stuka, >1. How did you know the name check was never initiated? Did the Senator's office tell you? They didn't tell me. I guessed, because wife's n check finished in Dec 2002. I'm primary, filed the same time, clean background, shouldn't have a hit. I don't think FBI checked my background...
