:confused: I just find out today that my case status on ETA website changes from "In Process" to "CLOSED", does it mean certified or denied?

Does anybody know this? Green card's spouse's I-130 processing date is closer to current date in Vermont than other service center? I check the website, it is 3/26/2005. I have the impression that I-130 will take 3 years. I don't know why it is so fast now :eek:

how about GC number? Can I use green card's number which is unique? I don't remember that long number on the right top corner. And which phone number I need to call?

After I filed I-130(green card's spouse), I got the I797C form with case number and receipt date on it.But I lost this form, can I call USCIS to get a copy of this form? Does that extend my waiting time ?

In form I-130, there is an item 14a, it asks for the date, place and class of admission, I can only see the date showing on the GC, how about the place and class of admission, it was H1B based GC. Thanks

Friends, My wife has a GC, she can only file I130 first, no I485 until I130 is approved. Do we need to also file Form I-864, Affidavit of Support together with I-130? Thanks

You sure? But the attorney from the new company and HR person are very confident and positive about what they said. They told clearly I don't have to have the "receipt notice" to join them. Are you 100% sure ?

Can I join the new company before my attorney get the "Receipt Number" back from INS service center for the H!B transfer ? The new company attorney said "portability rule" allow me to join once they filed the transfer to INS , is that true ?

If it is biweekly payment, only two pay stubs are OK for INS ?
