I'll post here when I receive the card. Very interesting to find someone who both mailed the form and got the e-mail on the same day! Good luck with citizenship!

    I-751 Timeline List

Makes sense... I received the first e-mail at 1:45pm and the second one at 10:45pm. Good point, not sure what they want, maybe confuse us? :) Wow, that was one long year for you. I guess I was lucky as some other folks here that waited about 3 months. I was expecting to wait until November or...

    I-751 Timeline List

Thanks, everyone. I have a question...for the I-751, do we simply get a message saying: ordered card production? Is there an approval message? Also, I looked through this forum and didn't find anyone's example of how long it took since they received the "ordered card production" message until...

    Interview August 11

I never keep envelops. I had a huge stack of cards that the officer didn't even go through them. When he asked for evidence, I first pointed to my cards that were stacked on his desk, but he wasn't interested. Good luck!

    Namecheck/Response from L. Bush Office

Do you guys have any idea what decision leads some people to be stuck in name check forever? I just got my approval and what I feared the most was being in taht situation. Is it based on how common or uncommon your name is? just curious...

    Interview August 11

No problem, do that. And repeating what others say after their interview...the officer will be pleased to have organized documents. My binder is as neat as it could be! :)

    Form I-864A required for concurrent i-485/i-130 ?

Yeah, I think eddie d is right. During my interview, all the officer did was look at the first page of our 2005 tax return and he was like: oh ok your income is above. He only looked at the gross income, we do have a lot of deductions like mortgage that are significant and that didn't seem to...

    Filing questions for I-485/I-765

I think Ari is right, but I think there is a box that you check that you say you had EAD before.

    Approved in Los Angeles

Thanks, speed. In my case, I saw 2 couples before me being interviewed separately, but I think it depends on the case, or sometimes it's the officers tactics. But you are right, as long as you have nothing to hide, you shouldn't worry. I didn't even have a laywer and things went just fine...
