You HAVE TO BRING YOUR SPOUSE WITH YOU! We got an rfe for a birth certificate. We were unable to obtain one and had a letter from the embassy stating so. But this was not good enough. So we had to call back home and with some push and shove we were able to obtain the birth certificate.

That more then likely means they are currently working October Cases! Tag on about 2-3 months to the date they state. We filed in July 2007 and had our interview in May 2008.

Got the Welcome Letter and i-130 approval letter in the mail today but still not Green Card as of yet.

So we got a Card Production Ordered Email on June 6th and the same email again today June 11th with todays date for the i-485 application. I thought the next update/email is suppose to be "Welcome Letter Sent". Any ideas?

I smell BS as well! Washington DC DO by far is the slowest office in the nation. And they are in the process of completing interviews on all July 2007 applications. I would schedule a InfoPass to find out whats going on.
