pcc Ideally yes. But if you pay the local police station enough or have good contacts, I\'m sure they will produce a certificate that states that you have no adverse record from birth to till date.

update and some answers Managed to obtain a local PCC...costed me Rs200. Rs100 application fee and Rs100 bribe. It took me 2 days and several trips to the local police station. Anyways went back to the Consulate yesterday...reached at 7:20am. Already a line about 60 people long for pending...

absolutely need local PCC Guys, please take the effort of getting the local pcc. The 2nd trip to the consulate without an appointment is a sheer waste. The local pcc is compulsory. I have been working and living in the US for past 8 years but they still insisted.

interview on May 22 - going to Hinduja Well my interview is also on May 22. I\'m going to Hinduja - very good reports. Organized etc..... My cousin was a doctor there and highly recommends it.
