Hi, Just wondering about the police certificate/clearance, and the format of it. Anyone know about it? Can I find it anywhere on the web? Who is supposed to issue it? The topmost police official in the small town or somebody commanding a district? Does it have to be notarized? Thank you. kaashi

Thank you. Didn't know of any official waiver but I did write an application and submitted the copies of the past correspondence with the USCIS. Hope that is sufficient. It's been 3 1/2 months since filing the I-130, and I 129f, just waiting for the approval for the case to go to the next stage...

Yes, I do realize that the I-130 filing comes before the I-129F. Thank you for your response. Anyway, the marriage comes before all this and then these technical things come into play. We'll see whatever happens. Thanks again. kaashi
