Does the North Dallas ASC allow walk-ins? My parents have received their FP Notice for 7/23 but I was wondering if we could get the FP done earlier. I've read on various forums that other ASCs allow walk-ins as long as there is an FP notice, and the ASC is not very busy. Thanks!

5/24/10 - Checks for 1-130 and I-485 cashed 5/25/10 - Received I-797 Receipt Notice for I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131 I (Notice Date: 5/21/10)

I call the USCIS Customer Service number and the representative said that I need to resubmit the I-765 package, along with the I-797C Rejection Notice.

Sorry - my brother is 14 NOW, turning 15 in December 2009 (by the time my parents file for his GC petition, he will be 15). We don't want to go through the illegal route, but wanted to check what his options are if he's "out of status" based on other people we know who were "out of status"...

Such is our dilemma - the 5-year processing time is cutting it so close to his 21st birthday. Best case scenario - our parents get their GCs in June 2010, their US citizenship in June 2015. He turns 21 in December 2015.

Yes, I understand that F-1 is unlikely with our parents as permanent residents so the option is to apply for an F-1 before our parents get their GCs. Or to convert to F-1 before his tourist visa I-94 ends.
