I did not get any confirmation about the conversion request. How do you know yours is in RIR or NON-RIR? I am not sure in which queue mine is in.
I beleive they were supposed to work on these cases by end of summer. By now we know what that means...They did not specify an year...
raydon, the unfortunate ones are those who applied RIR in late May 2001 to i beleive early Aug 2001. These applications are converted to NON-RIR and then converted back to RIR about 8 months back but with no response from BEC. looks like now they started processing NON RIR and will get stuck in...

For RIR i beleive you can use the ADs that you are doing for other jobs for similar positions in your company as a proof. Also supervised recruitment is different from the company placing ADs on thier own. If there is an option it is better to go by RIR conversion than going by...

Wondering if is any one whose case is converted from NON RIR to RIR and have any news to share. These are cases which are filed in 2001 and remanded back to state and applied for conversion.
My PD is June 2001, remanded, recently applied for conversion from NON RIR to RIR. No news yet.
Your Receipt date for H1 is September 29,2004 and you got your H4 stamped on the same day. Does this mean that you applied for H1 and went to India and came back on H4? If that is the case then H1 is not valid. You need to have a continuation of I94s which will not be there in this case.
