I am also in the same boat. I have a priority date of dec 2000, but visa number is not allocated to me. I called Texas Service Center like 50 times, no use. what they are saying is they will clear all FBI name check pending cases by March 30 . then they will think of people like us Krishna

visa number availabilty I think all the visa numbers are being allocated to applicants whose fbi name check is pending for more than 180 days.
