contact your congressman/woman and senator in your state we applied in CA. but we physically live in IL. Our attorney have us contact IL senator/congressman. They don't speed up the FBI name check process at all. But they contacted us as soon as our name checks are cleared. Hope this helps.

I had a hard time obtaining the LC certificate too. The lawyer saide that I would be ok without LC certificate, as long as I have job description, salary, etc ... in the LC application. Try ask the lawyer FAX you a copy of LC certificate.

hope_Nov, I have the same observation. We are July filer. Name check pending. 140 approved. I check the Dec filer forum. Many of them have got their 485 approved.
