Don't sweat this. The IO is not going to care as long as your wife falls into the "normal" category and has no other red flags.
Let us know how it works out. I bet $20 that is is a non issue at the interview. Any takers?

My wife had this exact thing happen. She got a traffic ticket after the N400 was submitted. The ticket was a speeding ticket. There was no way that she was going to pay this and also get the points on her license given that she planned to go before the traffic court judge and argue her case...
the passport has a gold symbol at the bottom center of the front cover. Also the cover is thicker then a normal passport. There was a flyer in the envelope they gave me that discussed it was an RFID passport.

I got my passport today from the Boston passport office (I made an appointment and paid to have it expidited). I received the new passport with the RFID chip. My wife who got her's in Sept recieved the old passport.

I had my oath two days ago. I am all done!
Headed over to the passport office and got my passport.
Its good to finally have it all completed.

I know this has been discussed round and round, however, I listed ALL the tickets on my N400 and then at the interview the officer was NOT interested in them. She said that I should not have listed them!

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services has lost track of 111,000 files...
I was stuck in name check. My wife submitted her application at the same time I did and she took her oath at the begining of Aug. My theory is that it takes longer to do name check for men vs woman.
