Thank you. I need to get stamped any ways as my current visa has long expired. I may not be able to apply in premium processing but, If I apply in regular, can I leave for India while it is in processing? I like to return with new H1 and new visa stamp.

My current visa expires in March 2007. I am planning to visit India during Feb 2007. Is it possible to apply for H1 9th year extension while I am at India? Does it come under H1-Cap? Thanks in advance for any responses.
