I have a 4 years bachelors degree in Mechanical engg and a one year non accredited full time software Diploma course. I was issued TN as a software engineer. This happened at Phili airport. What do you mean by house cleaning of TN's. Did this happen to other people recently ?

I did have my documents from my current employer (original offer letter and the pay stubs) which the officer checked but still kept the passport. Is it possible that they allow a lawyer with me for the deferred inspection? I am getting a feeling that somewhere something wrong may have happened.
