    thanks for indicating the typo. I have corrected it I actually meant, I sent the BC along with a copy of RFE. (Thats what was asked in the RFE) Hope it makes more sense now.

    Case: GC through my Wife (US Citizen). Had my AOS interview on Jan 26th Interview lasted 40 minutes. Officer asked me (RFE) to get a Birth Certificate (BC). I obtained BC from India within 4 days and sent it to USCIS DO via Registered Mail. It is almost 3 weeks since I sent the copy of BC...

    thanks for your reply. does anybody know how long does it take to get this certificate of non-availability? I have my old parents back in India and I am not sure how fast can we move on this. I have a 30day deadline.
