UK Visitor Visa approved or denied??

I got my UK Visa, the first email did not say wether it was approved or not before I received the next email that had the UPS tracking number. This was the first email I got: Your application, passport and supporting documentation have arrived safely in this office. Please note that the...

Car Registration for an Illegal Immigrant Question

Don't ever let other people use your name, ever. If they were really true friends they wouldn't ask you and wouldn't put you in that position. You will regret it later if you do. You're not helping by letting them use your name.

Hi everyone! I have a few questions about finishing up my UK visitor visa application. I applied online and also paid online ($129.00) for the biometrics. My appointment is tomorrow and it said I only have to bring the paper and my passport (I have that ready). And on the paper it says...

It was true 10 years ago, not anymore. I got my SSN in 1996 using a tourist visa (it was stamped "not valid for employment") but they don't issue SS numbers to tourists nowadays. I am from L.A.

I don't know exactly what is needed, but my aunt in Canada has a friend. This friend has a Canadian tourist visa, allowed to stay in Canada for 6 months and they all went here to the US. They got the US Visa from Canada and went here for a week.

    Very Interesting Case!!!

This is the law regarding that: Nonimmigrant visa stamps in a foreign national's passport will now be considered to be void as soon as a nonimmigrant remains in the U.S. beyond the period of authorized stay *, plus any grace period. Aliens are precluded from seeking a new visa at any post...

    Very Interesting Case!!!

What an interesting story, now I am curious! I'll certainly be back here to find out if he made it. My bet is that he makes it! I overstayed my tourist visa when I was a kid in the 80s, then I left the US in 1992. My tourist visa did not have an expiration date (nowadays they do) so I...

Yes, this applies. A USC can petition his/her biological mother and can also petition his/her biological father plus wife if the dad and wife has been married before the USC's 18th birthday. This also applies to children, the stepparent can petition his/her stepchildren as long as the...

Petition for parents and minor sister

If they were married before you were 18 years old, yes, you can petition her as your stepmother. If not, you can only petition your father. He will then have to wait for his greencard and petition his spouse and children.

    Biometrics Photograph

I know what you mean. The passport photos I submitted were nice, but my biometrics pic was gross coz it was early in the morning and my husband was at work so I had to go there alone tagging along our two kids and we were running late...so I looked like crap  When I got my green card...

Married in US for 4 years... no paper work.

Hi BBQChicken, Anybody can travel within the US, as long as you have an ID that matches the name on the plane ticket. When they ask for an ID, it's for identification purposes only, it's not like they're going to call the USCIS when they suspect something. Can you imagine the thousands and...
