I did not check during the month between FP and IL. The wait was not easy but one of the reasons that I kept calm is the fact that I still have another month to the actual residency requirement date. Here is my understanding: FP and name check happens at the service center level. Any case...

As you can see from my signature, it took exactly one month from the date of "actual" walk fp (40 days from fp notice online) to get the "case transfer" update... I was willing to give it another week or two before trying anything. I would say at least wait a few more days

Interview letter (date April 26) arrived today. Interview June 2. A 17 years journey is getting close to the end.... good luck to all those who are waiting.

Congrat to all who are moving fast. As for me, trying not to get stressed out, but getting really close to one month since walk FP and no change. :(

if it makes you feel any better, I had my walk-in FP on March 25. Nothing changed since then.

Houston-March My time line below. Do you usually see a change in the last update date after FP and before transfer? After about a week of doing my fp (walk in) the date is still the one when the sent the notice for fp.

N-400Houston What do you base youe expected oath date on? is there a schedule somewhere for Houston DO? Wish you good luck

I had an EAD application returned once because the fee was MORE than the exact amount.... make sure to check that too
