Thanks a lot, Triple Citizen. I felt a lot better after i got your reply.I had used a different identity(my fiance's surname) and a different DOB in my attempt to get a non-immigrant visa.I was given a waiver for material misrepresentation but i did not submit my hardship letter and evidences...

The embassy says i had used a different DOB when i was applying for a non-immigrant visa.so i had conflicting Dates of Birth,and was given the right of appeal.I have since appealed,with evidences.I want to know how long the appeal takes and how favourable it is or any other suggestions.

1. you cannot plan ahead to get a police clearance certificate, because the embassy has to give you a letter to the police clearance office. The interview date will be given, depending on the number of cases being attended to at that particular time.
