    Thanks to everyone that responded. I called the Zimbabwean and South African embassies and they both claim to accept RTDs.

    Hi everyone, I have been granted asylum, but I haven't applied for a GC yet. I am now needing to travel to third country, Zimbabwe and possibly South Africa to see my family. But the RTD (once I apply and get it) will be the only valid document I will have since my NP has expired long time...
