Hi everyone,
I’m planning to apply for the Diversity Visa lottery and I have a question about the education requirement. I left high school early and do not have a traditional high school diploma.
I’m considering earning a GED instead. I understand that the DV program requires a high school education or its equivalent to qualify and to avoid issues at the visa interview stage.
Does a GED count as a valid equivalent for the DV lottery education requirement?
If anyone has personal experience or knowledge about how consular officers view a GED during the DV process, I would really appreciate your guidance.
