Marriage after filling out DS-260

Hello,

My partner was successful in this years lottery, I had applied and didn’t get it. We are based in the UK, she also didn’t win first time around, she was notified a month after that they had reviewed her application again. We have got engaged, and then my partner has filled out the DS-260 application. We are planning on getting married in January. How do you go about updating the application? Are you able to update the application when an interview date has been set? Is it better to try and update the application before that is set? Any help would be great. Thanks!!
 
The way to update it is go back into it and add a derivative. The DS260 is locked when an interview date is set so you can’t do it after that. Some consulates will let you update it after but the safest route is to do a court marriage so you can update it asap then do your big wedding ceremony when you had planned for it originally.
 
What's your approximate case number? A majority of UK winners got assigned CNs that are unlikely to be processed unless EU goes current.
